It is very easy to find Le Tertre. In spite of it’s rural location, it is not too far from N10 dual carriageway and the D948.

From POITIERS:

• Take directions South for Angouleme on the N10
• Take the exit for LIMOGES - NIORT - SAUZE VAUSSAIS approximately 50 kms south of Poitiers
• On leaving the N10 turn to the right towards SAUZE-VAUSSAIS (D948) following the road for about 5 kms
• As you come towards the town of SAUZE-VAUSSAIS take the Centre Ville sign - a left hand filter
• About 200 metres along the road take the turning to the left signposted MONTJEAN
  

From NIORT:

• Take the signs for LIMOGES (D948) passing via MELLE and bringing you to SAUZE-VAUSSAIS.
• Take the Centre Ville sign into SAUZE-VAUSSAIS going straight through the town until you see a turning to the right (roughly at the Credit Agricole bank) signposted Montjean.
  

From centre ville SAUZE VAUSSAIS:

• Continue to the village of MONTJEAN - about 5 kms - do not be tempted to take the turning to Londigny
  Once at MONTJEAN turn left by the bakers - opposite the bar/restaurant/tabac
• Follow the lane out of the village and go straight on at the little crossroads and already you will be able to see Le Tertre on the left.
• We are about half a kilometre from the bakers. There is a sign saying ‘Cottages’ on the big barn wall and ‘Le Tertre’ just outside the gates leading into the courtyard.
